Study on Ephesians
By D. Mark Natirboff
Any study done on a biblical book should always be considered a commentary. That is the opinion of the writer as to what the original document, the inspired Word of God, means. The purpose is to remind us that, no matter who is preparing the commentary, the teacher is human and fallible. Therefore, obtaining different views and comparing how the authors present the text becomes important.
We are blessed to have two grace teachers present a commentary on Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. There is little to no difference in interpretation. However, each presents the content in a different light. The best any believer can do is read both and come to their own conclusion. Here is the link to the Study of Ephesians by Steven L. Tackett.
After many people receive salvation by grace through faith in the sole work of Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection they ask, “Is that all there is now that we are saved?” The Study on Ephesians tells them there is exceedingly more! In his Letter to the Ephesians, Paul is addressing those who are already saved by grace. He wants them to be filled with the increase in knowledge of God. He wants them to know who they are in Christ and all that means to them as joint heirs with Christ.
